Hunslet have continued their squad building for the 2025 Championship season with the signing of former Midlands Forward Brad Clavering.

The 6 foot 3 inch, 26 year old Hull lad has made 55 appearances at Coventry/Midlands scoring 7 tries and has become a firm favourite at the Alexander Stadium.

Clavering impressed against Hunslet last season and scored the try that nearly ended Hunslet’s 2024 play-off campaign at the South Leeds Stadium.

“Brad is a big ball playing middle, who fits how we move the ball and will be a vital part of our game” said Head Coach Dean Muir. “He is strong defensively and likes to work hard. All the staff are looking forward to working with Brad.”

Brad commented “I’m really looking forward to the challenges that we will face next year in the Championship.

“Having played against the team last year, I know that they are a tight bunch and have that never say die attitude. I can’t wait to get into training and rip in.”

With more matches this season, Hunslet will need a sizable squad. Clavering adds more go forward to an already exciting looking squad as anticipation kicks in for the 2025 season.
