Winger Johnny Campbell, who had been on loan at Betfred League 1 promotion-chasers Hunslet for several games before being recalled by his parent club Batley, is back at the South Leeds Stadium.

The veteran, who is one game away from 250 professional Rugby League appearances, is in the Parksiders’ squad for Sunday’s huge home fixture with league leaders Dewsbury (3.00pm).

The renewed loan arrangement is for an initial two-week period, with provision for weekly extensions.

Hunslet’s head coach Alan Kilshaw said: “We are delighted to get JC back. His contributions earlier in the season were very consistent and we are very thankful to Bulldog’s coach Craig Lingard and CEO Paul Harrison for their continued support regarding the availability of players.”
