Hunslet head coach Dean Muir has been shortlisted for this season’s Betfred League One Coach of the Year award.
Dean guided the Parksiders to a fourth place finish in League One and won the Club’s first play-off match since 2017 setting up a chance to make the Grand Final.
Five of the nine clubs who competed in League One this season are represented in the nominations for the end of season awards.
As usual, the nominations – and winners, who will be announced at rugby leagueβs awards night at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on Tuesday 8 October – have been determined by a poll of head coaches, who are not allowed to vote for players in their own teams.
