Former Keighley Cougars and Bradford Bulls back rower Aaron Levy has joined Hunslet for the 2024 season.

Coach Dean Muir says “Securing Aza was vital for our group. He is someone who immediately bought into the project. He is a threat on the edge with excellent lines of carry, as well as having excellent leg speed in the middle which will add to the team this season”.

There is also another reason Levy wanted to be a Parksider, as he is due to marry the sister of Hunslet prop Harvey Hallas’s wife. At least now things won’t be awkward at Christmas dinner as the lads will be team mates rather than in opposition.

Levy has featured in five seasons at Cougar Park and has scored 25 tries in 74 appearances.

Hunslet fans will be hoping he can do the same in the Myrtle, white and flame leading the charge to the top of League 1.
