Michael Knowles is raring to get back into it again in his second season for Hunslet.
Knowles was a major part of the Parksiders success last season, but like everyone else at the club was disappointed to lose out in the play-offs.
But that was last season and a new season brings new hope. Knowles at 36 will bring much needed experience to a young side, and with new players and a new coach a bit of familiarity to the fans.
The former Castleford, Featherstone and Sheffield man played in the pack, but also on occasions at half back last time out and was popular amongst the supporters for his directness.
Coach Dean Muir will be hoping Knowles brings some steel and skill to his pack.
