Hunslet Hawks have today agreed to release Matthew Tebb with immediate effect by mutual termination.
Director of Rugby Darren Williams said “Matthew has been unlucky with a number of injures over the last 2 seasons, now back to full fitness he needs to get a run of games under his belt, we couldn’t guarantee him that at this crucial stage in the season and with George Flanagan & Jack Lee in front of him we needed to look at his options to get him out playing.”
“He is joining his old community team Shaw Cross Sharks and we will monitor his fitness and form and see how things develop. Matthew has been a model professional since he joined the club and was a pleasure to have around and hopefully this won’t be the last we will see of him at South Leeds if things go well for him”
